Mothertongue Feminist Theater Collective

Mothertongue Feminist Theater Collective is an open collective in which hundreds of women have written and performed their sweet and sour life's experiences.

We are happy to be a grass-roots organization founded in the belief that women find strength and joy in telling truths to one another.

We are a belonging place, a place to laugh and cry and grow up again.

A piece of cake moment of wrinkled times of Feminist history of tender understanding.

A place where we belong, a place of compassion, concurrence, collaboration, community and camaraderie.

We are a gang feeding each other stories and insights about class, race, deafness, ego, ideas, motherhoods, movies, foods , breakups and the clouds of love.

We try for open minds and open mouths with plates of resolution served with black coffee.

We say "Yes" whenever possible.

Now we are 33 years old.
