Volunteer at The Women’s Building
A crucial part of The Women’s Building is the Volunteer Program which provides volunteer opportunities to support a variety of departments as well as direct programs and services.3,633.5 hours
Between July 2021-June 2022, individuals and groups volunteered a total of 3,633.5 hours of their time.
150 volunteers
For the fiscal year 2021-2022, we had a total of 150 volunteers.
The Women’s Building offers different volunteer programs for students, neighbors, school groups or community members who would like to contribute to our mission to build a community-driven space that provides resources to recognize our community’s collective power and self-determination.
By volunteering at The Women’s Building, you are not only supporting the organization but also building meaningful relationships with other communities. We deliberately aim to establish an intentional and mutually beneficial program that promotes community engagement even beyond the building’s premises. Our ultimate goal is to inspire volunteers to participate in advocacy work, take action, and march in solidarity to uplift our communities even when they are not volunteering with us.
There are many ways to get involved with The Women’s Building Programs. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Citlali Ramos, at citlali@womensbuilding.org to find out how to start volunteering with us. In the meantime you can keep up-to-date with subscribing to our newsletter and following us on our social media channels.
